Biomedical Treatments

Our individually tailored treatment protocols are designed to meet the child’s specific needs. Dealing with the source of primary inflammation, reducing the abnormal expression of inflammatory molecules, removing all potential toxins, providing an optimal nutritional status, and supporting neuronal development constitutes at present the most appropriate form of therapy. In other words, the treatment will consists of a dietary modification, optimal nutrition (vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, essential amino acids depending on the individual’s needs), and when need improved gut health and immune balance.

Linking behaviour to clinic and biology

These analyses and treatments are combined with in depth clinical and psychological observations of the affected children. One reason for this is to appreciate and document as fully as possible the issues faced by the affected children. Attempts are made to link behaviour and clinical features to sets of biomedical surrogate markers.
